This ship very much resembles medieval ships of the great Venetian merchant fleet; on board there are rowers and soldiers armed with bows and arrows, and there is waving sea water below. This design was used by the Westminster Company (a wallpaper manufacturer) in its magazine ads. We have found it on the catalog cover of the aforementioned wallpaper company. The company motto "All the World Over" is placed above the design.
