Download this plan in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format with high resolution pictures  - Pages 16; 4,34Mb

 Sogun Chair.jpg
You can use various types of wood for this project manufacture. We recommend purchasing some wood with a nice, interesting texture like ash, beech, cedar, birch, cherry, maple, oak, walnut, etc. If you are planning to paint Shogun Chair by yourself, the texture of wood is not important.
Make all the items precisely by the measurements given on particular 2D drawings. The measurements are given in millimeters, and the measurements in inches are given in brakes (1 inch = 25, 4 mm).

 4. Fasten the Circle Plank A (item 1), Circle Planks B (item 2) and The Circle Planks C (item 3) into the woodworking vise and, by following the instruction given in 2D documentation, mark and then make mortises using subassemblies made in step 1. The Legs (item 4) and Legs Mirror (item 7) should fit in the mortises.

  6. And now the final step of this project. Before this step, you should check if you drilled all the holes properly, does mortises matches, and above all, is it possible to put this project together. Because when you apply the glue on items, you will have to work quickly, so it would not dry out before you finish with the assemblage of all items. Fasten the Circle Plank A (item 1), Circle Planks B (item 2) and the Circle Planks C (item 3) into the woodworking vise. Do not forget, to put the glue between the items.
 shogun_stool_20.jpg

Push the subassemblies made in step 1 into mortises on both Circle Planks B (item 2).
 shogun_stool_16.jpg  shogun_stool_17.jpg

Apply the small amount of glue on the Axles (item 5) and tamp them down by hammer into the holes on the subassembly made in the previous step.

At the end, attach the Circle Plank A (item 1).
