This 3D model has been created based on the image (from old book about architecture) of a Moorish decorative panel made by carving in wood.

The panel is rectangular in shape and as such can be seen in preserved Moorish palaces. The ornament is made of interwoven strips that form octagonal blank spaces. Within these spaces there are 2 types of rosettes. The ornament is repetitive, and like most of the Moorish ornamentation, this one is geometric as well.

By copying  the downloadable 3D model  you can create an ornament that will contain the desired number of segments. Also, this ornament can be scaled to the desired size. You can easily cut off only the part around one of the rosettes and by copying further create an ornament of any size consisting of just one rosette type.
