We have found this pattern on the cover of the book “Real pen work: self-instructor in penmanship” (published 1881).

Penmanship is the technique/skill of beautiful handwriting with the help of the pen, brush, ink or other writing utensils. The pattern on the cover can be divided into four individual patterns: two birds drawn in calligraphic style, a decorative frame and stars in the center of which we can insert some text.

This free calligraphic pattern can be downloaded in the following file formats: 2D CAD (.dwg) and vector (.eps and .svg)

Inside the files you can find a pattern identical to the cover of the aforementioned old book (the contour and colored version as in the original), as well as individual patterns that you can use for some of your projects. This calligraphic pattern is accurately drawn and do not need to be further processed.
