Here you can download a pattern with the help of which you can cut a very nice wood panel in scroll saw technique.

The pattern originates from an old catalog for household products from the beginning of the 20th century where this panel is referred to as an artistic ventilator panel. The panel consists of four smaller panels featuring the silhouettes of mythical (dragon and griffon) and real (lioness and wolf) animals. Looking at the picture, you will see that their design resembles the design of animals as it is often seen on coats of arms, and each design also contains ornamental scrolls. Since all four silhouette panels consist of closed curves only, these panels are suitable for scroll saw technique. The panel is precisely drawn and suitable for cutting with hand tools or on a scroll saw machine. If you don’t want to do it yourselves, you can have the cutting done by a large number of companies that have CNC laser cut machines.

Panels of individual animals can easily be singled out in vector or 2D CAD software and used independently in any of your scroll saw projects. As you can see, these are very nice and attractive scroll saw panels that will surely beautify the object you want to decorate. In addition, you can create a border around the panel, preferably one with a medieval look to match the panel.
