Toy is the thing specially designed for child’s play and it is one of the favorable articles since the very begining of civilization. The Egyptian, Greek and Roman children enjoyed playing with dolls, rattles, horses and various other ancient playthings made out of stones, wood, plants and other natural materials. When civilization progressed many natural toys were replaced by synthetic and plastic ones – except the wooden toys, because each wooden toy is durable, safe, easy to clean and stands up to rough play.
Even though many new toys are being invented, some of the classic toys will never loose their popularity, which confirmed the child educators and psychologists, and first of them were Friedrich W. A. Froebel and Maria Montessori. They have also emphasized the role of toys in mental, emotional, social, and physical development of children.

Playing games is an integral part of each person’s life. The game is very important for growing up, because children fully concentrate to it, they have a great joy during the play and their approach to the game is free and spontaneous.
During the play, a child often uses some toy, which should fulfill a certain standards. It should be easy to use, have visual and aesthetic quality, be properly adjusted for the child’s hand, have vivid colors and its construction should be easily understandable. In addition to that, every toy should be firm and well shaped, so the child could not hurt itself. Glue and paints should be stable, without smell and above all kid-friendly harmless substances.
Toys designed for the babies, toddlers and pre-school children (such as ours airplanes, cars, trucks, board games...)should be larger and simpler, because small children have limited skills of toy manipulation. The construction toys are suitable for the older children.
All these qualities we present in our kids toy plans, and trying to made the best educational toy plans (or learning toys), because the most important quality of toy for any child’s age is educational function. The more interactive toy is, the more it stimulates kids, keeps them occupied and sharps their intelect, co-ordination and learning skills.
