Puzzle is a toy designed for a kind of game that requires persistence and ingenuity to solve various difficulties and amuse people. Now, they can be found in all the cultures, but its evolution started somewhere in the 3rd century BC with the simple square puzzles in Greece. The Chinese ring puzzle followed shortly after. But an object made purely as a puzzle was not manufactured until the Industrial Revolution, when wealthier class of people started using them as educational tools for their children. First of them was a jigsaw puzzle, that was invented to learn geography. In 19th century a tangram puzzle came from China and from then until today, the puzzles are developed for purely recreational purposes.
