The seesaw or teeter totter is one of the frequent outdoor toys, and the children are always eager to play with it, because is simply fun. Also, this toy is remarkably good for the physical development of  a child and its movement coordination, so it would be a real shame to deprive the child this kind of game, just out of fear of eventually injury, which can be prevented by focusing on your child while playing. You can also put somekind of soft material underneath the seesaw seats, like sand or wooden chips. Another thing about the seesaw is that  one child alone can not play on it, it has to invite a playmates, and this way it  child meets other children and develops social habits. And parents who are bringing their children here can also bond with other parents and become friends.
