This is another torus-based math art 3D model that we managed to create in a very short time using TopMod software.

First, we created a partially twisted torus with the Geometry Mode command (of course you need to slightly adjust the parameters of the said command to create the 3D torus model you like). Next, we just needed to select the series of faces and apply the Rind modeling command. The modeled math art 3D models in TopMod software can be exported  into .obj or .stl file formats, so that you can use them either for printing on 3D printers or importing into commercial or free 3D graphics software (Blender, Wings 3D...).

3D CAD software used for modeling

- Topmod for modeling

- Rhino 3D and T-splines plug-in for conversion to NURBS 3D surfaces

Available NURBS and BREP file formats

Surface 3D model - .igs (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification)

Available polygonal mesh file formats

.obj

Mesh - Quads only; Vertices: 1728; Edges: 3456; Faces: 1728; Mesh topology supports multiple subdivisions; 3D model without texture and materials

This 3D model doesn't really have any practical/applicable value – maybe only to model some futuristic or abstract desktop wallpaper. Should you get any idea on what to do with it, feel free to download!
