Here is a 3D relief model of a stylized trefoil pattern. The trefoil is a pattern consisting of three partially overlapping and interlaced circles.
This relief was to decorate the lid of a wooden box, i.e., it was to be engraved on the lid using a CNC engraving machine. In the meantime, there has been some changes in the design of the wooden box, so we only have this 3D model left. By the way, such simple reliefs can be very nice decorations on wooden boxes, panels and furniture; if you have a CNC engraving machine or a routing machine, you can make them in no time. The trefoil pattern was very often used in Gothic architecture, so if you are working on a medieval-themed 3D project, this 3D model may come in handy as lovely decoration.

Based on the same principle of overlapping circles contained in this 3D model, you might also model a repeating relief, i.e., a relief with which you could decorate wooden panels or the like. Depending on how you draw it, the panel may be as transparent as this 3D model of ours or opaque (if you engrave it on wooden bases).
