Star rosette 3D models

Star rosette 3D models look like decorations made with chip carving technique in wood or stone. They can be modeled very easily; first model one radial surface, make a copy of it using the Mirror command, and then rotate both surfaces a certain number of times. Trim the resulting surfaces mutually and delete any excess surfaces. From the resulting surfaces, make one polysurface with the Join command. Model the rotating surface (outer circular wall), trim it with the polysurface from the previous step, delete the excess surfaces, and there is your model! You can make a lot of similar 3D models this way, it all depends on your creativity.
