This is a large collection of ornamental Rosettes. In the collection you can find various types of rosettes: Acanthus rosettes, simple rosettes, palmette rosettes, etc.

The collection contains 16 rosettes which are carefully drawn, so that you can use them in your projects without further editing. A rosette is a type of decorative element in the shape of a stylized flower, used in architecture and the decorative arts. It has a circular arrangement of parts radiating out from the center and suggesting the petals of a rose, analogously to a botanical rosette (circular arrangement of leaves and petals). Mathematically, the rosette has rotational symmetry and the rosette segment, in most cases, has reflection symmetry. There can be different degrees of rotational symmetry.

Rosettes can be found in different cultures. The oldest rosettes were found in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, and throughout history they have been used as a decorative element in Ancient Greece and Rome, Central Asia, India, China and Japan. All the rosettes from our collection date from old books on architecture and decorative arts.

All the rosettes are drawn by means of lines, circles or smooth curves, so if you do 3D modeling, you can freely use them as an initial sketch on the basis of which you will draw your 3D model.
