If you do something nice with this stencil pattern, we would love to see it.
Here you can find a detailed stencil pattern of a Damselfly. Due to its simplicity, this stencil pattern is suitable for decorating in various techniques.
Damselflies are smaller and more delicate relatives of dragonflies. Together, they are amongst the evolutionary oldest insect groups on earth. Damselflies are predators in both larval and adult stages. Larvae, also called nymphs or naiads, live in shallow freshwaters with rich vegetation. They hunt small insects and crustaceans that live in or fall into water. Adults are extremely heliophilic insects - they are active during the sunniest part of the day, while during the night they roost in dense vegetation and do not fly away even when disturbed. Adult damselflies usually spend their lifetime nearby waters where they were hatched. They often fly just above the water surface or rest on nearby grass. Adults hunt small insects like flies and mosquitoes and eat them during flight.
