French romanesque ornament

French romanesque ornamentIn case you need a Romanesque ornament, this is the right page for you! Here you can download a very nice square interlaced pattern in the French Romanesque style.
In the old book (Styles of ornament: exhibited in designs and arranged in historical order with descriptive text, by Speltz, Alexander, Published 1910) where we have found it, it is stated below the illustration: Cross from Notre Dame du Port, Clermont-Ferrand, 11th century.
We call it the French Romanesque ornament since it was found in the book section of the same name; also, the very Basilica Notre Dame du Port is of Romanesque style and located in France. The ornament is square-shaped and the motif is that of the interlaced cross.
The ornament can be downloaded as a CAD draft in .dwg file format or as a vector in .svg or .eps format.
