Here you are presented with two rectangular frame patterns named ‘Showcard border vectors’.

The first frame border we found in an old book „Modern show card lettering, designs, etc.“ (Author: William Alexander Thompson, Published: 1902) and a second pattern we found on advertisements in an old newspaper. Both frame borders are simple in appearance but have a very good feature - a large blank surface intended for text insertion.

In the picture you can see what the showcard borders look like and if you have an idea how to use them, you can download them in 2D CAD (dwg) or vector (svg and eps) file formats.

Both borders are suitable not only for showcards, they can also serve you to decorate advertisements, invitations, pages in magazines and books, etc. Both showcard borders are over 100 years old, but since their beauty is timeless, you can still use them today for various purposes.
