On this page you can download a very interesting Celtic pattern which we called the Celtic knot ring pattern.
We found it in a book and drew it while mastering the Inkscape vector drawing software. If you take a look at the picture, you will see that it is a ring shaped interlaced pattern. Its segments are painted with different colors, which has the suffusing effect of shades of various colors. If you don’t like the existing choice of colors, you can choose whichever you like.
The Celtic knot ring pattern is available in 2D CAD (.dwg) and vector (.svg and .eps) file formats.
The pattern has a universal outlook, you can use it as a design element or for decorating square or circular surfaces. Probably its full beauty would come to the fore if you made it in wood with a nice texture. The pattern is made up of 9 segments that are rotated around the center, resulting in a ring shape. If you increase the number of segments, you can obtain a ring shape with a larger space in the middle and the pattern can be used as a border.
