This collection contains 8 decorative vignettes published in books that are at least one hundred years old.

Vignettes are often found on the pages of old books, where they usually mark the beginning or end of a chapter in a book, lessons, etc. If you browse through a large number of old books, you will find that these decorations are called the same name despite the fact that they vary in shapes, drawing styles and dimensions. All 8 vignettes in the collection come from books that were published in the early 20th century. During that time they were considered modern in style and very similar to Art Nouveau. Not to mention that they were very popular and often used to decorate books. There is a large number of such vignettes in old books, but finding the ‘right ones’ and drawing them takes a long time, so we strive to make such old decorations available to you in your work.
