Craftsman Space website is dedicated to all of you who are into homemade craft (woodworking and metalworking).
This website contains free woodworking and metalworking plans with detailed manufacture and assemblage descriptions of various wooden, metal and glass objects, classified in a few groups. All the project plans contain precise drawings of parts, assemblies and subassemblies, many pictures and detailed descriptions with instructions for complete making of all presented objects. All of these woodworking and metalworking plans offer a variety of designs, measured to various levels of difficulty. All the project plans are made by the same standard and quality.

The DIY (do it yourself) free plans on this website are given in html format. The pictures within html plans have resolution from 300 to 1400 pixels width. Some pictures are resized and by clicking on them the pop-up window will open, so you could see the object in better resolution. The pop-up window shows just a preview of the project and usually it is not the actual size of the picture as the one inside the screen. If you need pictures in the original resolution, you can save them on your computer one by one, or you can save the whole webpage. We also have all of our free woodworking and metalworking plans in .PDF formats with hi-res pictures (up to 3000 and 4000 pixels in width), on which even the smallest details of plans can be zoomed and seen. Some of the plans have link to the related .PDF file included.

Within section Free Patterns you can find various categories of patterns for decoration and using for such techniques as marquetry, intarsia, scroll saw, wood burning, painting, fretwork, carving, etc. These patterns can be downloaded as .ZIP files with motives in vector form (DWG, SVG, EPS) and screened picture in high resolution. If you need to print a motive as a poster in bigger size than format of your printer - see our tutorial for this kind of printing. All the vectors are hand traced, so the curves are smooth and suitable for CNC machines.
