Each motive is converted into files with different extensions. This way you can use it for different purposes:

Raster Graphics Extension (.jpg, .tiff or .gif) – In this format the pattern can be used in softwares for picture editing (GIMP, Adobe photoshop, Corel Photo Paint,...). We recommend using GIMP program, because it’s totally free of charge, and it can accomplish almost all the operations as a professional ones. The motives are given in high resolution, so you can:
- edit and modify the picture,
- make a poster (picture of large dimensions, which can easily be printed on any kind of printer and then use on wanted surface) – See tutorial "How to print poster".

Vector Graphic extension (svg and eps) – The pattern in this format are hand traced and can be used for the software manipulation, manipulation of the vector graphic software (Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw,...). We recomend using Inkscape program, because it’s totally free of charge, and it can accomplish almost all the operations as a professional ones. If you download some pattern in the vector art format, you can:
- change its shape,
- add some new shapes to the pattern,
- re-arrange the pattern (f. e. into circle, in corners, etc.),
- combine a few free vector art patterns together,
- save the vector format as rastered picture and then use all possibilities from the first step.

DWG Extension – Pattern in this format would be the most useful to people who have CNC machines, but also to those who prefer technical 2D programs in order to edit shapes... The motive in this format can be used for the software modulation specified for technical documentation. We recommend Solid Edge 2D Drafting program, because it’s totally free of charge. And if you download the motive in DWG extension, you can:
- import file in any CAM program and simulate movements of tools on the numerical machine for cutting,
- do exactly the same things as in the second and of course in the first step.
