As you can see in the picture, here are four 3D models of architectural rosettes available to you for download. We hope that you will be inspired to make some practical use of them in your work.

We have come across them in an old catalog of a company that made various architectural ornaments, and their name ‘architectural rosettes’ is due to the fact that they were so named in the very catalog. Today it is difficult to find such ornaments on a new building, but until a hundred years ago, ornaments like these were often used in architecture. All four 3D models have been precisely drawn in Rhino 3D software; they are very similar in appearance, with the only difference being their shapes (square, circular, rectangular and elliptical).

Basically, each of these four rosettes is a relief depicting rays coming out of the center. They can be used as decoration on your 3D building models, made by either hand or machine in stone or wood, and made even from concrete or plaster if suitable molds are provided. Even today, there are a large number of people who choose to decorate building façades, gardens, solid fences, etc. with such decorations. We call the rosettes ‘architectural’, but the given four 3D models can also be used to decorate furniture, boxes, door panels ... they can be used in various other ways as well, everything depends on your imagination and inspiration!
