Scroll saw 3D panel

Scroll saw 3D panel

On this page you can download a 3D scroll saw panel. The panel has been created on the basis of a 2D pattern, which can also be downloaded here: Scroll saw panel

The pattern consists of 4 rectangular panels showing animals (a griffin, lioness, dragon and wolf) drawn in the ’heraldic style’ characteristic of coats of arms and ornaments. This 3D model is made as a scroll saw 3D panel, i.e., a 2D pattern has been imported into 3D software and extruded. In this way, it can be used as a design element in some 3D graphics software or cut on a CNC router. If you are familiar with 3D modeling, by importing a 2D pattern or 3D model of this panel, you can create a 3D mold for pouring the panel in concrete, plastic, metal ... or you can create a bas-relief 3D model. The panel is designed in such a way that it will enable you to easily make four small panels which can be used separately.

This is a very simple and beautiful 3D panel oozing medieval charm, and can look very nice if it is cut in wood or sheet metal or when used to decorate various pieces of furniture, gates, wrought-iron fences/enclosures, etc.
