Medieval maze patterns

On this page you can download two Medieval maze patterns. The first pattern is circular in shape. It dates from the 13th century and is inlaid in black stone upon the floor of the nave of Sens Cathedral. The second one is octagonal in shape and located on the floor of the nave of the Cathedral of Amiens. Mazes like these used to be common in medieval cathedrals and their design is similar to designs in Roman mosaic pavements.
They have been drawn in 2D CAD program, painted black and white, and can be downloaded in 2D CAD (dwg) or vector (svg and eps) file formats.
