Here you can download a free 3D model named ‘Wreath 3D Design’.

The 3D design is circular-shaped like a crown and, as you see in the picture, consists of a simple design element arranged around the circle. Modeling such 3D designs is almost the same as modeling of such 2D patterns, it is very simple and by the same principle you can get a lot of completely different 3D patterns, 3D borders, 3D ornaments and the like.

Draw a 2D pattern of the design element and make a 3D design from it;
Draw the guiding curve that is circular here, but can be of various shapes, especially if you are modeling a 3D border;
Distribute a certain number of 3D design elements along the guiding curve;
If the distributed 3D design elements are overlapped, trim them and delete unnecessary residual surfaces after trimming.

This is a good mesh. Mesh has naked edges (there is no bottom surface). Mesh is not bad, but naked edges can cause problems if the goal is STL output.

The good thing is that for this process you do not need much experience with any software, and even beginners can quickly make such 3D models. For our wreath 3D design we have used a simple leaf design element; imagine that, instead of this element, some more detailed floral design elements have been arranged along the circle, and it will be clear to you what beauty you can create with almost no effort at all!
