If you like wooden items decorated with scroll saw technique, here are 10 patterns with which you can make wall mounted scroll saw key hangers.

The patterns are more than 100 years old and were accidentally found in an old catalog of a company that specialized in the production of various household items made of wood. It is interesting that all items were decorated with scroll saw patterns which makes us believe that such items were very popular at that time. As the name suggests, all 10 key hangers can be hung on the wall and will surely serve you for decades. The advantage of such items is that they have their primary purpose, but also a decorative function.

The dimensions of our patterns correspond to the dimensions listed in the catalog and range from about 30 cm (1 1/4'') in width; of course, the width of the key hangers can be slightly increased or decreased and the number of places where you will hang the keys can be changed to your needs. We recommend 6-12mm (1/4 - 1/2'') thick plywood to be used. Key hangers made using these patterns belong to the rural i.e. traditional products and are ideal to sell at various village or craft fairs. Scroll saw key hangers are ideal for production on laser cutters that will allow you to make a large number of pieces very quickly and the precision will also be at a higher level than cutting them by hand. Unfortunately, the design of wooden objects decorated with scroll saw technique does not match well with modern furniture and interior design. The design of such items is vintage and country-style, and such items are suitable for combining with traditional and rural interiors where wood and wrought iron are dominant.
