If you take a look at the picture, these are not templates for hinge plates but for the leaf shape of the hinge plates. If you decide to cut hinge plates using these patterns, don’t forget to include the material for bending the knuckle. We haven’t drawn it because it depends on the pin diameter, so this part of the work is left to you. The hinge plates based on these patterns can be cut with hand tools or power tools, although this process is much shorter if CNC machines are used.
