Collection of 11 decorative frames

On this web page you can download a collection of 11 decorative frames. All the frames have been found in old books and drawn in 2D CAD software. In the picture you can see what/how they look like and you can download them in 2D CAD format (dwg) or vector formats (svg or eps). To be able to edit or modify these decorative frames, you need to have installed 2D CAD or vector software.

There are several free software with which you can edit them:
- 2D CAD: Draftsight, Solid Edge 2D Drafting
- Vector: Inkscape

The frames in the collection are of different shapes and patterns, so they all have different blank spaces where you can insert some text. Take a good look at these frames; should you like any of them, feel free to use it! The frames have been drawn carefully and precisely, and they are elegant in design. We truly hope you will use them as decoration in some of your works. Based on the date of publication of the books and magazines in which they were found, all decorative frames in the collection are more than 100 years old. As their very name implies, they are ‘decorative’, i. e., meant to frame various advertisements and texts/illustrations on pages of books and magazines, as well as to be used on showcards, invitations, etc.

All 11 decorative frames in the collection are rectangular in shape, with part of them being suitable for decorating either horizontal or vertical rectangular surfaces.
