Two vintage posters
On this page you can download two vintage posters.
The first poster is from year 1896. It appeared on the front page of an illustrated weekly magazine published in London - the Pall Mall Budget. The poster was designed by the famous British painter and book illustrator Maurice Greiffenhagen.
The second poster is of similar age. It was designed as an advertising poster for the Odeon Casino by Walter Schnackenberg. This famous German painter and illustrator had a deep appreciation for the work of the French painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec whose influence is quite obvious on Schnackenberg’s poster art.
Posters from the late 19th and early 20th century are still popular today, and you can see them framed on the walls of people’s houses, even on the walls of cafés, clubs etc. If you like these posters, by using the program PosteRazor you can print them in sizes larger than A4 and decorate your own living space.
