Here you can download the free animal silhouette that we named Cat design by Walter Caspari.

This cat vector design comes from the old book "Das dritte Geschlecht" by Ernst von Wolzogen and Walter Caspari, published in 1901. Should you need a free and simple cat design for some project that is aimed at children, just take a look at this design as it may meet your needs. We deliberately emphasized the project to be aimed at children since it is apparent that the design of the cat is drawn in a style characteristic of children's books or cartoons.

This cat design is available as usually in Autodesk (dwg) format, Encapsulated PostScript (eps) format and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format.

The cat has an extremely thin body, a long thin tail and legs, large accented eyes and a mustache. Cats drawn in this way are usually presented in children's books or cartoons as ‘bad guys’ or sophisticated personas that are above others. It may just seem that way to us, but when we look at this design, it is beautiful and radiates the positivity and grace that only cats have. This cat design could have been called a cat silhouette as well because the entire design consists only of an outline of a cat and cat-eyes.
