Papilio memnon (or Great Mormon) is a butterfly of the Papilionidae family, native and widely distributed to southeast Asia. Papilio memnon is large butterfly with the wingspan about 12 – 15 cm.

Great Mormons are known for being an extreme case of genetic polymorphism, especially with females. Four male forms and 26 forms of females have been reported. Many of the female morphs are mimetic – they mimic other papilionid species which are unpalatable to predators. This phenomenon is known as Batesian mimicry, and for Papilio memnon it is limited to females.
